Our Lady of Guadalupe

For Feast of the Ascension and Mother's Day, we will display in the Sanctuary this weekend the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This is an exact 4' x 6' digital reproduction of the miraculous image of a pregnant Mary, which appeared to the Aztec Indian Juan Diego in Mexico on December 12, 1531. Veneration of her was followed by an end to the Aztec's practice of human sacrifice and the conversion of millions of Indians over the next nine years
