HOME STUDY GUIDELINES

1. Student books and home lesson guidelines will be handed out at the first session

2. Attendance at each session is mandatory for child and adult . If child misses more than one session she/he will need to repeat the year of Religious Education, and will not be permitted to re-enroll in Home Study.

3.Students will be tested at each session on the material covered in the assigned chapters. Learning difficulties will be taken into consideration whenever possible.

4. Student books are collected each session; families will be notified when books are ready for pickup at the Rectory (usually within 2 weeks).

Since our Home Study program continues to grow, there will be two groups: HS-I and HS-II. The groups have been randomly divided, and each group includes students on all grade levels. The smaller number of families in each group will help to ensure that all participants have a meaningful, educational experience. Please attend the meetings for your group only.

LARGE	GROUP	SESSIONS: HS-I
Session 1	September 30, 7-8:30 pm	Books are distributed
Session 2	December 2, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 1-5, 8-12, 1st Assessment test
Session 3	March 17, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 6-7, 13-19 2nd Assessment test
Session 4	May4*, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 20-28 Final Assessment test

LARGE	GROUP	SESSIONS: HS-II
Session 1	October 7, 7-8:30 pm	Books are distributed
Session 2	December 9, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 1-5, 8-12, 1st Assessment test
Session 3	March 24, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 6-7, 13-19 2nd Assessment test
Session 4	May 12*, 7-8:30 pm	Complete lessons 20-28 Final Assessment test
